Girls rugby is currently thriving all over the UK, with it being one of the most fastest growing sports at present. Guildfordians Rugby Club started their girls section in December 2015, and have grown over the past two seasons into three established teams, soon to be four. The section is lead by the England Red Rose Scrum Half - Leanne Riley.
Guildfordians have a team of coaches that are dedicated to the girls throughout the season. We train on Sunday mornings 10am-12noon at Stoke Park, with matches played mostly at a similar time, home and away.
We welcome girls from the age of 8 through to 18, with no previous experience required. Younger girls are also taken within the mini's section. Ever wanted to try something new but are not quite sure what? Rugby is a lifestyle not just a sport. The core values lived and breathed from all players and coaches is a way of life. Rugby is a game for all, so come and get involved with us!
Sessions start at 10:00 on Sundays and run for between 1.5 and 2 hours depending on the Age Group.
