The 4 officers of the CB are the Chair, Vice Chair, Hon. Secretary and Treasurer. As officers of the CB they are jointly responsible for guiding the process of managing the CB with the Management Committee. This is mainly done through Management Committee Meetings (MCM), Planning/Review meetings and Annual General Meetings.

Duties of Executive

  • Act together to guide the management of the different sections of the CB, first responders to resolve any problems that arise
  • Manage any urgent CB matters that occur between Management Committee meetings
  • Lead development of strategy
  • Contribute to succession planning
  • Represent County to RFU in appropriate forums
  • Review annual operating budgets and PFR submissions
  • Support and attend CB events and representative teams matches
  • Maintain a close relationship with the Office and visit the Office regularly

Surrey Management Committee Roles
