Esher RFC - Womens Section

Esher Lionesses formed in January 2018 - we are an ambitious all-inclusive 18 and over ladies' group, welcoming anyone who wants to play for fun as well as competitively.  In April 2018 we became endorsers for England Rugby's #innerwarrior campaign aiming to encourage more women and girls to play contact contact rugby, teaching participants key introductory skills and drills for rugby within a social and fund environment.  The Inner Warrior campaign won the 'Inspiring Initiative - National' award at the Women's Sport Trust #BeAGameChanger Awards in May 2018.

Alongside this squad, Esher Lionesses will take part in XRugby7s and Rugby 7s tournaments throughout the year.  We offer a full rugby package created by qualified RFU coaches, which includes: rugby focused sessions, team and personal development training and complementary sports.
