Jorge's first rugby experience was at 12 when he moved to the uk and played for his school team and subsequently Windsor rugby Youth sections.

Jorge played senior rugby for Leeds University, Windsor, Battersea and Hammarby in Stockholm; which incidentally lead to an international cap for Sweden! He now holds  the positions of Hononary Secretary amd Senior Team Manager at his home club Battersea Ironsides, as well as plays the occasional game! He is also professionally affiliated with Harlequins as a community coach.

Last season Jorge trialled with the Surrey Men's team, getting to know the set up, and this year he's been given the role of Manager for the team.

Professionally, whilst affiliated with Harlequins as a Community Coach, Jorge also does freelance rugby coaching for various grassroot sections around the South West.
