We have a new and exciting role that will help look after our players across the whole of the club including women's/girls rugby. We have a strong community ethos and want to develop our (and make new) links with the schools and community groups from within the local community in line with the RFU TREDS values.
Our very successful age grade and youth sides (Waterfall Cup Finals) continue to thrive on and off the pitch and exemplify TREDS values as they progress through the club. We now want to promote our club and the opportunity for youngsters to get involved with our club and enjoy the benefits of making new friends and being active in a safe sporting environment. Having valued sports first aid pitch side support and regular clinics we aim to care and our support all players using our first class facilities
Covid and lockdowns have undoubtedly impacted on the clubs progressive programme but our coaches, committee, support staff, parents and volunteers remained as passionate as ever for developing the club for the benefit of the club and local community. Our successes this season reflects the ambition and drive within the club
We seek Sports Therapists, Sports Rehabilitators or Physiotherapist with sports first aid experience to join our club and provide quality care, assessment and support for all players. We have in house training and support from volunteer sports first aiders who help cover matches and festivals home and away. This role will be predominantly for the senior section and women's/girls section but may on occasions assist with academy/age grade fixtures.
The Rugby Committee and coaching teams fully support the sports medical team and are committed to ensuring this is suitably resourced and forward-thinking.
The sports therapist/physiotherapist will be able to develop the role and enjoy being part of a inclusive club and being part of our One club One team ethos.
