Guildfordians RFC Girls' U14 Head Coach

The role will involve leading the U14 girls' team, focusing on inclusive rugby and developing all players within the squad. It will involve the need to help nurture young players into full 15-a-side rugby, something they haven't yet experienced. The RFU's core values is at the top of our philosophy. Showing evidence of these consistently in both training and matches is vital and should be a priority throughout the season.
Head Coach Role key duties
- Be available to lead all GRFC training sessions, whilst managing assistant coaches
- Build positive relationships with all players and their parents and carers
- Develop individual players skillset both generally, but also position specifically
- Work alongside other age group coaches
- Effectively communicate to the girl's chairman on a regular basis
- Facilitate the delivery of a season strategy, discussed directly with Leanne
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 2
- Experience of developing female rugby players
- Regular attendee of England rugby CPD courses
- Ability to develop new and experienced players equally
Commitment:
- Weekday evening TBC but aiming for Wednesdays
- Sunday mornings 10:00-12:00 (match times may vary)
